Pappy & Harriet’s

In 1946, at the site where Pappy & Harriet's stands today, filmmakers built a cantina set that was used in Western films including The Cisco Kid, The Range Rider, The Gene Autry Show, & Annie Oakley during the 1950s. When actors came to film, or just pass the time, they stayed at The Pioneertown Motel– right next door. Pappy & Harriet’s remains a cultural institution both locals and the world. They continue to preserve and perpetuate the legacy and tradition of world-class live music for all, great bbq and good times.

Experience the history— or just a really good time

Pappy & Harriet's is a unique blend of past and present. While it started out providing a backdrop for many of Pioneertown’s Western films, it is most known as a venue for incredible music. Their impact is undeniable— performances by world-class bands, multiple times per week, spanning decades. Sir Paul McCartney graced the stage for an intimate performance once and this town still hasn’t stopped talking about it. Whether you're immersing yourself in the nostalgia or enjoying a live show, Pappy & Harriet's strikes that balance between the charm of the Old West and the vibrancy of contemporary music culture.

See you in the crowd
